Who am I?

Hello, and welcome! My name is Jena Helfrick, a 67-year-old female veteran with a story of resilience, transformation, and hope.

For over fifteen years, I battled relentless back pain and sciatic nerve pain. I tried every treatment under the sun—physical therapy, medications, injections, and countless doctor visits. There were times when my back “went out” so badly that I needed a walker just to get around, relying on steroids and spinal injections to regain some mobility. Over time, I became so identified with pain that I stopped moving altogether, afraid that any activity might make things worse. I lost touch with the things I used to love.

Things changed exponentially in May of 2025. I gave myself a simple challenge: to baby crawl for ten minutes a day, every day, for twenty-one days. It sounded almost too simple to make a difference, but I was desperate for change. To my amazement, those three weeks transformed me. I gained more strength, stability, and—most importantly—confidence in my body’s ability to move without injury, in those three weeks, than I had in the entire previous fifteen years.

Inspired by my own progress, I became an Original Strength Certified Pro, in order to share the movement restoration system that introduced me to the power of baby crawling. Now, my mission is to continue growing stronger while helping others reclaim their own strength, confidence, and freedom of movement.

Whether you’re struggling with pain, feeling stuck, or just looking for a new way to move and feel better, I’m here to support you. If I can do it, so can you!

Let’s rediscover the joy of movement together.
